Oh hey there…!
It’s been a few weeks since I last posted anything at all! Apologies for the silence, as although a week of that time was spent in far away lands, the rest of it has simply been spent working and resting. Oh and preparing for that Christmas thing that people keep talking about…
And for this week’s (delayed) entry for the Weekly Photo Challenge it’s off to the aforementioned far away land – Hong Kong!
I spent an absolutely awesome week in Asia’s World City at the start of this month. The sheer magnitude of the city is truly incredible, yet it’s also very much a place where old traditions and cultures continue to coexist with the new and cutting edge.
Nowhere was this more in evidence than during my visit to Wong Tai Sin temple, where many visitors came to pay their respects and burn incense sticks in worship. And it’s this snapshot of “community” that I thought would be perfect for this week’s photo challenge.
Here’s hoping you like it! It’s good to be back to the blog, and keep an eye for much more from my amazing Hong Kong trip coming soon…
